Survival Gear

So just to be upfront I am not a survival expert, yes I know a little but in today's world things are changing all the time and there is much better survival training and equipment out there now then there was when I was younger. I was in the military for 22 years but let's face it I was in the Navy so most of my career I did not have to worry too much about surviving on land I am pretty confident I would make it in most emergency situations on a ship but out here in the real world I would need some advice.  I have several survival products on the website to include a few paracord items, I can definitely say paracord has many uses and I personally have some in my backpack. After retiring from the Navy I was a Naval Science Instructor for a small charter school and I met a young man who has an interest in survival techniques and prepping he has a blog at themodernprepper.blogspot.com
